The film will star MacFarlane himself along with Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Giovanni Ribisi, Sarah Silverman and Neil Patrick Harris. It was produced by Media Rights Capital and distributed by Universal Pictures. The film is scheduled to be released on May 30, 2014.
