Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween is a 2018 American horror comedy film directed by Ari Sandel and written by Rob Lieber. It is based on the children's book series of the same name by R. L. Stine and is a stand-alone sequel to the 2015 film Goosebumps. The film will not be featuring any of the original cast from the first film, with the exception of Jack Black, who will be reprising his role as Stine. Alongside Black, the film will also star Wendi McLendon-Covey, Madison Iseman, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Caleel Harris, Chris Parnell, and Ken Jeong. Unlike the previous film, Village Roadshow Pictures is not involved with this film. It is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 12, 2018, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
