It is directed by Jared Stern in his theatrical directorial debut, who co-wrote the story with John Whittington. The film stars the voices of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Thomas Middleditch, Ben Schwartz, and Keanu Reeves.

DC League of Super-Pets premiered in Los Angeles on July 27, 2022, and was theatrically released in the United States on July 29, 2022, by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film has grossed over $9.3 million worldwide and received generally positive reviews from critics.
